the energy of home

Bringing Duke home from the hospital created a natural desire for us to prioritize how we manage our frequency. If this little being is feeling, sensing, interacting with the energy that James and I are generating, it’s time for us to level up! What energy did we want him to experience and associate with his home and family? Love, calm, playfulness, deep trust in Source, creativity, joy… (and more joy, joy, joy). Our intention is to raise him in an environment that is led with love and expansion. If he arrived with the ability to sense and experience the energy around him (which I believe he did), then we have the opportunity to ensure that the energy of home is the highest frequency possible. It is our responsibility to manage our energy, so that we aren’t emitting fear, worry, doubt, and anxiousness into his system.

This has been a daily focus for the past seven weeks, and a practice that ebbs and flows. After all, we are living with a newborn for the first time in our lives! Intentionally nurturing and creating my energy is a priority now, and it feels so empowering! I have found that it is simple- it takes focus and attention, but it is not complex. Some tools that we are tapping into for managing our energy are
- spending time outside in the warm Spring sun
- doing things that bring us joy, simply because they bring us joy
- taking time for ourselves (I spend time free writing, reading and doing breathwork, James spends time painting and creating)
- being aware that we are living our vision. Here, Now.
- laughing as much as possible
- leaning on each other and communicating when we need a reset
- running Healy frequency programs to bring our mind an body into balance
- creating boundaries to only do things that are in alignment with the energy of home that we want to create

I am so grateful for this moment in time, for the intuitive knowing that helped me to focus on intentionally creating the energy of our home, and for the great gift of motherhood.
